Our highland chair features a combination of leather and textile. The jacquard upholstery textile from Maharam by British Designer Paul Smith vividly blends two classic apparel motifs: houndstooth and windowpane plaid. The houndstooth pattern originated as a duotone woven cloth worn by shepherds in the Scottish Lowlands during the 1800s.
